The Foundation

I’m a registered dietitian who believes in both science and the mystery of the body. Science gives us tools: data, lab work, evidence.

But real healing also asks for humility: to listen, to notice, to stay curious about what your body is trying to tell you.

My work lives in that balance – where medical insight meets the lived experience of being human.

Lizzy Swick Nutrition Counseling: Integrative Nutrition for Fertility, Pregnancy, Postpartum and Women’s Health

How I Work

As a clinician, I focus on clarity and consistency, helping you understand your body, your labs, and your metabolism so you can make decisions from knowledge, not confusion.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Build meals that balance blood sugar, hormones, and appetite.
  • Meet realistic protein and fiber targets for your physiology.
  • Support metabolism and gut health through nutrient quality and timing.
  • Identify patterns in energy, mood, and cravings that signal deeper imbalances.
  • Use lab data and symptom feedback to guide practical, sustainable change.

I give you structure and science you can trust – without rigidity, fear, or fads.

Who I Work With

I work with women across all stages of life- from young adulthood to post menopause – who want to understand their bodies and feel in control of their health.

Some are preparing for pregnancy or recovering postpartum.

Others are focused on hormone health, metabolism, or sustainable weight management.

Many are working to rebuild trust with food and their bodies – feeling less reactive around cravings, more resilient in moments of emotional eating, and more confident in how they nourish themselves day to day.

What to Expect

Every client begins with a thorough intake and comprehensive assessment that includes nutrition history, lab review, and lifestyle patterns. From there, we develop a personalized medical nutrition therapy plan with clear, evidence-based recommendations.

You’ll receive:

  • A structured nutrition plan with targeted supplement and lifestyle guidance as a first-line approach to healing.
  • Clear direction on when medical care may be indicated – such as IVF, lipid management, or GLP-1 therapy – so your next steps are informed and collaborative.
  • Practical education on meal composition, metabolism, and hormonal health tailored to your physiology.
  • Ongoing support that blends accountability with compassion – so progress feels sustainable and rooted in understanding.

The Outcome

When women understand their physiology, they stop fighting their bodies and start working with them.

My goal is to help you trust your body and feel safe in the process — to see nutrition as a lifelong practice, not a race. There’s no before or after, just the daily work of nourishing yourself with structure and compassion. When you can meet the harder days without urgency or self-judgment, real change lasts.

Lizzy is not your typical dietitian – in the best way possible! She is hands down the most well educated and well-informed dietitian I have ever worked with. She’ll support you when you need it and give you tough love when you need it. She’ll dedicate an incredible amount of time to supporting you and making you feel like you have a partner in your food and weight journey. I highly recommend Lizzy!” —

“Lizzy helped me heal my relationship with food and completely changed my mindset about eating for health and longevity. I had gestational diabetes and knew I needed to make some changes after I gave birth. Lizzy provided the knowledge and accountability that helped me make meaningful changes and move forward healthier, lighter and more fit. The program is SO WORTH it and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”—

“After 15 years of yo-yo dieting, I knew I had to do things differently. I wanted to lose the weight and form a more positive relationship with food — for me and for my daughter. In 12 weeks, I’ve lost 17 lbs, have stable energy, and feel a sense of confidence and peace with eating that I never had before. This program doesn’t require perfection — it gave me tools that truly changed my life.” —
